Black River Tavern and Valley of the Eagles Event Center is an upscale casual dining restaurant and a premier banquet hall and catering venue in the Northeast Ohio region. Valley of the Eagles Golf Club, approximately a 35-minutes car ride each way, is centrally located between Cleveland and Sandusky in Lorain County, with convenient freeway access to 90, 57, and 80, at Sheffield Village and Elyria.
After extensive renovation, Black River Tavern opened in 2018 with the upper Event Center facility debuted in late 2019 to provide full catering services for all social gathering functions between the group size of 10 to 450.
Banquet functions are held in the upper Event Center, private dining spaces in the lower Tavern, under the pavilion, or on the outdoor deck.
Valley of the Eagles Event Center features massive floor to ceiling quarry rock walls, earthy tone cherry wood lined ceilings, oversized windows, and roll up garage doors. Light and bright, the décor is both modern and rustic. And the spacious outdoor deck! Many wedding ceremonies, social cocktails, celebration of life, first couple dance, and high school dances have graced the beautiful and lush outdoor grounds, surrounded by the panoramic view of the Black River and the golf course down below.

ABOUT VALLEY EAGLES
The only Nicklaus Design daily-fee course in Northern Ohio, designed to fully capture the beauty of the Black River Valley lined with the massive sheer black shale cliffs, tranquil surroundings of the majestic trees, and breathtaking elevation changes. The course meanders through Black River Valley and along the Black River, with mature elm, oak and ash trees lining the fairways, and intriguingly positioned island tees to island greens.
